Welcome to the Austin, TX., Witches With Brains list. Yes, Witches and Pagans from all over Texas, our country and globe are welcome here too! As the name implies, we have brains and we think for ourselves. Some topics may cause controversy and/or may be too difficult for Pagans that are overly sensitive.

We are, an online salon for adult thinkers who have opinions and openly speak their minds. Participants are Pagan / Wiccan / Vodouisants / other, and many of which are warrior Trad. or have similar tendencies ... the "fluff" level is low and as a whole we pretty much like it that way. It can be a raucous place (like any decent tavern virtual or real) with the occasional challenge/duel to keep things interesting.

We inform "Fluff", *if* they will stand still and listen. There are no stupid questions. And any beginner may come forward with seeker's questions.

*Urban Legends* and SPAM are not welcome here. Conjecture may be more exciting than the truth, but members of this list are not interested in rumor or gossip. Posts from new members require approval, this is to control the "bots" not our members.

We avoid name calling and profanity. **Respect** of each others opinions is required. Read the Netiquette rules in the files section! All subjects of interest and concern are open for discussion. (except politics during an election year.) All other topics are appropriate so long as they are discussed in an intelligent and civil manner. Remember, we discuss topics.
