Description

This site is for those people interested in the family of William Eires and Jane Wilmouth Fox of Person County, North Carolina.

The land depicted in this painting of the fox is very reminiscent of the rocky and hilly terrain of Person County where our Fox family had its beginnings in North Carolina. Geologists believe that the rock outcroppings found in the county were part of the alluvium created by the passage of large glaciers back in the Ice Age.
