Simply wild bird watching in Western North Carolina. Group can branch off in to flowers and blooms that attract certain WNC birds or your love hate realtionship with the squirrels, local weather affecting birds etc but hopefully keeping the subject about birding in Western NC being the primary topic. Although it's okay to just lurk and read, we prefer contributors to the group, but do ask you introuduce yourself to the group after joining. Someone can benefit from what you know too. I know we have a lot of part time residents here - your invited too.

Photo albums are available for members to share their bird pictures (we'd never turn away a white squirrel picture either). Post for other's to see or to the unidentifed album to get help with an ID.
