I would say try following the path and see if you feel comfortable.

The Law of Return seems to be a important to Wiccan, so if that is going to be a
problem its time to leave the worn path and forge your own in "the wild".
Wicca to me has always seemed a bit specialized in a larger field called
Paganism. Its not like your only choices are Wiccan or Christian.

Be open flexible and never stop seeking the truth.
