Hi Ashley,

Thank you for your response. I am familiar with the auditorium on Bellflower. It is off Bellflower Boulevard by the 91 Freeway.

When you say you need ushering and with tickets, PLEASE CLARIFY the following:

1. Are the ticket numbers printed with seat assignments? You said you needed someone to make sure 'People were sitting in the right spots'.

2. Are there other parents from WIPA or PTSA helping?

3. Do you need more parents to help? If so, How many more?

I am glad to help with taking the tickets at the door.Not a problem. Please reply to the above points and I will see what I can do to solicit more help if you need it.

I have cc'd all Indian Parents in my address book and WIPA on this email message and am requesting all of you parents to please help these kids. They work so hard and deserve our support. Please take "some" time out to help them out and ensure their hard work is successful. IT IS THE LEAST WE CAN DO FOR THESE KIDS AS THEY ARE OUR CHILDREN.

We need help mostly with tickets and ushering, and our show starts at 7:00, so if you could be there at 6:00 to accept tickets and make sure people sit in the right spots, that would be great.

I'm so sorry for the late reply but have been a little tied up with a lot of matters.

I am wondering what areas of help you're looking for from parents as I may be able to help for a few hours on the 31st and may just be able to rally some parents to help out.

Unfortunately am unable to watch the show due to a prior commitment, but, can probably help until the show begins. What time does it start, by the way? I'm assuming around 6:30 to 7pm?

I did the ticket sales at the door for the Culture Show 2 years ago when Paluk was graduating and am familiar with that procedure.

Please let me know as soon as you can as I still have to switch my schedule around if I am needed.

Hi! My name is Ashley Manchanda and I'm this year's culture show head.

 

I sent an email earlier but haven't gotten a response yet, but this year we're very keen on having your support. Here's a summary of the last email.

 

As you probably have heard our show is on May 31 this year, and Shanti Club cabinet was wondering if the WIPA parents would like to help us out. We are taking care of preparing the show, but at the show itself, we wanted parent support, such as with ticket collection, ushering, and guarding the dressing rooms.

 

Ticket prices are $5 for participants, $8 presale, and $10 at the door.

A lot of this years participants' parents are on WIPA, and we're selling one-liners/shoutout s for any parents who want to wish their kid good luck in the program. One line is $7, Half page is $75, and Full page is $100.

Sponsors: If any parents have a business that would like to sponsor us, prices are $25 business card, $75 half page, and $100 full page. The Ad will appear in our program as well.

 

And once again, the show is on Saturday May 31, at William Bristol Civic Auditorium, doors open @ 6.30, show starts at 7.00PM.
