This is a group created for/by people living in the Westwood Park neighborhood of San Francisco. It is operated by individual residents and is not affiliated with Westwood Park Association. The purpose of this group is to bring the residents of this area closer together and develop a stronger sense of community. We would like it to be a valuable resource for all of us to share information, ask for advice, post events and discuss topics important to the residents.

Group membership is open to all Westwood Park residents. To prevent problems with spammers joining our group and sending inappropriate or planted messages to everyone, we request that all new members be approved before they may post or make use of the group's features by simply including your home street address in your sign up form so we can verify that you are a resident of Westwood Park. Any personal information submitted to the moderator will be kept strictly confidential.

We expect this list will be a low- to medium-volume mailing list. It is unmoderated, and thus we all share responsibility for ensuring that the content of the list is of high-quality and suitable for anyone to read.

When signing up, you will have the option to receive each message, digested messages compiled daily, or none at all. You are free to join and simply scan messages whenever you choose by logging into the group.

There are ground rules for posting and members will receive a guide with rules/netiquette to help make the best use of our mailing list. New subscribers are requested to familiarize themselves with the guide before posting to the list.
