Welcome to Western Reserve (Ohio) Free-Mo! Modelers in the Ohio / Pennsylvania areas are invited to join us. We regularly meet in Akron, Ohio.

We are not a typical group or club. There are no elected positions, no dues, no club property. Each member purchases the needed materials and builds their module according to their interests using the Free-Mo standards.

We are basing our HO scale modules on switching and scenic venues as found on the Wheeling & Lake Erie, Akron Canton & Youngstown, Nickel Plate Road, and other area railroads of various eras.

We have many "finished" modules that have been to local and regional events. Part of the fun in Free-Mo is getting together with other groups and operating several times a year. We can show you how to build a basic module, start the scenery, and be ready to run in a short time.
