This unmoderated mailing list is intended for the sharing of information between, and communication among, all members of the West Orange Jewish Community and its many Jewish Institutions - regardless of religious affiliation.

Please abide by the following Use Policy:

Postings should be of potential interest to all members of the Jewish community of West Orange and its environs (Livingston, Milburn, etc.) Please make every effort to translate Hebrew words into English
Postings should not advocate for one religious denomination over another
Postings must be well-mannered
Proselytization of any kind is forbidden
Advertising must of interest to the entire community. Each ad must not appear more than once per month.

Examples of Proper Posts:
Polite and meaningful discussion of topics that affect the Community
Announcements of Jewish Events in the Area, or of Interest to Jews in West Orange
Announcements of Service schedules at neighborhood synagogues, requests for prayer groups (minyanim) etc.

Examples of Improper Posts:
Posts that are offensive. Posts that unfairly malign an individual or group.

Important Additional Clarifications: This is an unmoderated Jewish list for all members of the WO Jewish community regardless of affiliation. However, posts that are not appropriate may be removed by the list owner, and individuals posting inappropriate messages may be removed from the list. This list currently does not flag individuals for moderation. All messages are immediately sent to the list This list seeks to enhance communication within the Jewish community. Thoughtful and polite discussion is encouraged
