West Hartford Freecycle(tm) "Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community."
Freecycle is open to individuals, businesses, schools, and nonprofit organizations in West Hartford and the surrounding communities.
Our goal is to make it easy for everyone in the area to find new homes for good items rather than throw them away. In the process, we'll reduce waste, save precious resources, ease the burden on landfills, and connect with like-minded folks.
You're welcome to post items to give away -- whether it's a chair, a fax machine, clothing, appliances, a piano, computer, or an old door. Or maybe you're looking for something? Feel free to ask for it! Either way, please mention where you live in the subject line! No addresses, phone numbers, or curbside posts allowed.
