This is the Yahoo Group for the homeowners in the Wesley Park Community. Wesley Park community is situated in Sammamish, Washington, very near Beaver Lake Park. If you are a homeowner in Wesley Park you are automatically a member of the Norris Estates (Wesley Park) Home Owners Association. This is a Washington, non-profit corporation owned by the association of owners of Wesley Park and is in charge of operating and maintaining the common facilities and providing common services to its members. As a member, you must pay an assessment to the association for your share of the expenses and have certain rights and obligations.

The association operates under legal documents (Declarations, Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws) provided for in the various laws of the State of Washington. In the association, the majority rules based upon the required majorities prescribed in the the legal documents and what the majority of members of the Board of Directors of the Norris Estates (Wesley Park) Home Owners Association or all the owners want (depending on the issue being decided); you are obligated to accept also.

AN ASSOCIATION IS LIKE A GOVERNMENT

An association is similar to a government in several ways. One way is the operation of the homeowners association (as outlined in the Declaration, Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws, which state the guidelines for voting, elections, proxies, etc.). The Declaration, Articles and Bylaws make up what is often referred to as the "governing documents" of the association.

COMMON AREAS

Common areas include all the property in which the owners own an undivided fee interest.
