This group is for Ohioans who wish to support the effort to make retired 4-star Army General Wesley Clark the next President of the United States. Wesley Clark is an ANNOUNCED CANDIDATE FOR THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY NOMINATION FOR PRESIDENT IN 2004.

General Clark is the former Supreme Allied Commander of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). A West Point graduate who was also a Rhodes Scholar, Clark served in Vietnam where he led a mechanized infantry company. In his career, he won the Silver Star, the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Clark served as Commander-in-Chief of US Southern Command in 1996-97 and NATO Supreme Allied Commander in 1997-2000 where he led NATO forces in the Serbian campaign. He finished first in his class in high school and at the United States Military Academy, before completing a degree at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. In 2000, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Clark has a unique philosophy that includes a combination of social progressivism, wisdom on foreign policy military affairs, and prudence fairness with our nation's budget.
