This group is for people who are Welcoming & Affirming Baptists. The W&A movement is made up of individuals, groups and churches that envision that the day will come within Baptist Churches when no one shall feel excluded from God's love in Jesus Christ because of their sexual orientation.

Accepting one's sexual orientation, in a non-affirming society, is often something that involves much prayer, study and struggle. Many people contemplate or attempt suicide, trying to deny who they were made by God to be. Know that God loves you, gay or straight.

Baptists historically believe in freedom of conscience, soul liberty, and individual interpretation of scripture with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
