The Freecycle Network (TM) is made up of many individual groups across the globe. This branch is based in the Central Vermont area. Freecycle is a grassroots movement of people who are giving & getting stuff for free in their own towns.

Some simple rules:

1. Postings must be written as such: (OFFER) Chair ~ Barre or (WANTED) Couch ~ (TAKEN) Chair and couch.

2. For your safety, please DO NOT include your address or phone number in your postings!

3. Do not post firearms, alcohol, used personal care products, medications or adult material.

4. Please don't assume that you are the recipient just because you sent and e-mail expressing interest! The offerer is allowed to choose whom she/he wants his/her item to go to!

5. It's always nice to send a quick "Thank you" e-mail to the offerer, it only takes a minute or so and doesn't cost anything!

6. FROM THIS POINT FORWARD, THERE WILL BE NO POSTINGS ABOUT ANYTHING BESIDES ITEMS TO BE GIVEN AWAY OR ITEMS NEEDED. ANYONE POSTING IDLE CHATTER, YARD SALES, ETC, WILL BE MODERATED AND THEN REMOVED FROM THE GROUP IF IT CONTINUES.
