The principle is very similar to FreeSharing or Freecycle; Members offer items such as excess items from government programs (infant formula, milk, cheese, rice, etc), excess items from your cabinets and pantries, seeds, plants, fruit before it rots on the tree, excess veggies from the farm or garden, canned goods from their emergency survival stock, and so on. ~ NO SELLING!
