U.S. 74-gun Ship-of-the Line Delaware 1832
This 1/8"=1' scale model of the Delaware was built using a bread and butter hull completely hollowed out with both gun decks completely planked and fitted and a coppered bottom by P.C. Coker of Charleston. References were the Chapelle plans of the class and the Sea Gull rigging plans of the USS Columbus, a near sister-ship. The model can be seen today at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Norfolk, VA
