This group serves Waldorf homeschooling parents who reside in the northeast U.S. region - specifically, MA, ME, NH, VT, CT, RI, NY, NJ, and PA - with discussion and support from a perspective that is both grassroots-based and anthroposophically-inspired.

Membership is open ONLY to those who live in this region, AND are also currently and actively homeschooling one or more of their own children ages 13 and up (or working with approximately "grades 7-12") with Waldorf.

A basic working knowledge of the Waldorf curriculum is appreciated, though not required for membership. All are welcome, including those working with any Waldorf-inspired resources and curriculum materials.

All membership is moderator-approved. Your request MUST include a) the state in which you reside; b) how many children you are currently homeschooling and their ages; c) your interest in joining this group. Incomplete requests are automatically deleted.

Once approved, a one-time personal introduction to the group is REQUIRED by all members within the first 14 days of joining, or else one is deleted from the database.

This group also acts as a message board for Waldorf Family Network, a community-based initiative serving homeschooling families and others inspired by Waldorf education.

Waldorf homeschooling parents who reside in this region and are working with children ages 6-14 (or working with "grades 1-8") with Waldorf are invited to join our sister group: Waldorf_Northeast_Homeschool

All in this region (homeschooling parents, Waldorf teachers, Waldorf school parents, folks in the larger community, etc.) are welcome to join our Networking and Announcement group for making connections and learning about events in the area: Waldorf_Northeast
