Our primary purpose is to serve the anthroposophical community residing in the northeast U.S. region – specifically, MA, ME, NH, VT, CT, RI, NY, NJ, and PA – by providing a vehicle for announcements regarding events, goods, and services related to anthroposophy, Waldorf education, Waldorf homeschooling, and other impulses reflecting Rudolf Steiner’s work in the world that are based in this region. Queries related to personal networking, outreach, and general community-building within the region are also welcome.
Membership is open ONLY to those who live in this region, and who also share a sincere interest in our group purpose, including Waldorf homeschooling parents, Waldorf teachers and administrators, parents in a Waldorf school community, child care providers, farmers, artists, organizers, and others!
All membership is moderator-approved. Your request MUST include a) the state in which you reside, and; b) your relationship (if any) to the anthroposophical community, and; c) why you wish to join this group.
Your request will be automatically denied if it is not complete.
Once your membership is approved, a personal introduction is strongly encouraged, though not required. All members are moderated initially.
Waldorf homeschooling parents in this region may also be interested in joining one or both of our sister homeschooling groups:
Waldorf_Northeast_Homeschool and/or Waldorf_Northeast_HomeschoolTeens
This group is moderated and maintained by Michaelmas Farm, a center for cultural renewal in north central Mass. For more info visit www.MichaelmasFarm.com
