Description

A loosely moderated group, with key members as mentors to existing/newby builders in a quasi serious manner, still based in humour. Open to any of the 7/8ths or full scale size Nieuport biplanes. These Nieuports may include the GLee replicas and The Dawn Patrol's fine version of the original Nieuports. Also for consideration, other Nieuport plans or kits.
The upshot of this, hopefully, will be a group with valuable building resources. Sans Graham, sans Mike. Disagreements will be encouraged and welcomed, but in a respectful manner.
Typical group member should be one who has disdain for blindly following, without asking questions. One who can get into a "heated discussion" without letting it get personal. One who has ideas and is willing to share them with out fear of being derided.

A place to put up appropriately related items for sale. Even a place for Food and drink, guy kinda recipes. And yes, Dick, even including your "Southern Comfort" recipes.
So here's what I have in mind:
>Key group members.
>The Members would decide on who to bounce or accept.
>Only members who have or have their plans in hand, started building; or have completed plane. Folks around JUST to shoot the crap, perhaps should find another group.
>No Graham and company.-I know this may rankle some folks but so be it. GLee has a proven track record of arrogance. This is a setup for crap slinging.

Important to note:
1)THIS IS NOT A GROUP FOR BASHING GRAHAM LEE. HE WILL RECEIVE NOTHING BUT RESPECT HERE FOR HIS HUGE CONTRIBUTIONS TO HOME BUILDERS.

2)DS and DL will be revered as "Saint-like" here.

Re: Gardner Gathering Of Eagles recap
It is ready to fly again as soon as I get it back together after the trip to Gardner. I am going to look into changing the landing gear like the Dawn Patrol
