This group was created for individuals interested in the paranormal, and is sponsored by the West Virginia Ghost Hunters. The W.V.G.H., LLC is a paranormal research group that was established October 7, 2000 and is based in Charleston, WV. The W.V.G.H. offers two levels of membership to anyone interested in the paranormal aspect of West Virginia. We offer free, scientific, and professional investigations throughout all of West Virginia and surrounding states. Our goal with respect to our investigations is not quantity, but quality. We chose our investigation sites carefully and don’t spend every weekend walking through countless cemeteries, which in our opinion is disrespectful. Our mission is to further the field of paranormal research through scientific research. We use a wide variety of tools to measure, document, and capture a “haunted” location’s environment, instead of relying on dowsing rods, psychic feelings, and crystals. There is nothing wrong with those practices, there is just no means to scientifically prove that they are uninfluenced by the investigator. This paranormal research group has no affiliation with any other paranormal groups in West Virginia. We do however welcome members of these other groups to participate in our group.
Please remember that there are groups out there who will take advantage any way they can. Please remember that no group has any authority to certify you in anything and those groups that charge for these questionable certifications are disgraceful and are scams.
