Get active, meet your neighbors, help your friends and our community: Join us in the petitioning process and gather those very important Democratic signatures necessary to get candidates on the ballot!

Petitioning begins TUESDAY, June 9th, and YOUR help on the campaign(s) of your choice is vital and appreciated. We’ve gathered some of the information from WQIDC members who are running for office: Jimmy Van Bramer, Marc Crawford Leavitt and Danny Dromm. Please see below and then be in touch with the campaign(s) for training and securing petitions.

Some of our members are carrying two or more petitions. What are YOU doing? Who can YOU help? THANKS for being involved in whatever capacity you can. REMEMBER: Every valid Democratic signature in the correct district COUNTS!

~~

From Jimmy Van Bramer, Candidate for City Council, 26th District:

Whether you’re a veteran of campaigns and petitioning or if you’ve never petitioned before or volunteered on a campaign, we need your help. Please RSVP by responding to jimmyvanbramer@.... And please consider volunteering on June 9th, the first day of petitioning, and throughout that week, when we need all hands on deck to cover the district and collect signatures.

Please join our effort by attending one of our Petition Kick Off trainings:

Sunday, June 7th at 4:00 PM or Monday June 8th at 7:00 PM

45-18 Skillman Ave., Sunnyside, NY 11104
Just two blocks north from the 46th/Bliss St. 7 train stop.

Please make every effort to attend one of our trainings, however, if you are unable to make one and would still like to volunteer, please contact Brian Fritsch at jimmyvanbramer@....

~~

From Marc Crawford Leavitt, Candidate for Queens Borough President:

Long time political activist seeks to take his activity to a new level to benefit Queens.

Please join us Monday evening, June 8 at 6 PM for a Pizza Party at Marc’s new campaign headquarters and stay for the petitioning training session.

50-11 Queens Blvd., right next to the Boston Market.

There will be pizza & salad, and a lot of fun.

For more info, contact Dan@...

From Daniel Dromm, Candidate for City Council, District 25:
[Jackson Hts. Area]

Danny is running to bring new leadership to the City Council and to improve our local schools, expand health care access, create jobs, and increase green space in our community. But first we need to make sure he gets on the ballot. Sign up today to become a petition volunteer, and help us take the first step to victory. ..

Petition Training Sessions

Saturday, June 6th 10am 77-15 37th Avenue OR

Monday, June 8th 7pm 77-15 37th Avenue
