The International Women’s Trucking Association provides a safe and secure group for women who are in, or wanting to enter, the trucking industry. The WTA is dedicated to the betterment of women in trucking by providing a mentoring program to assist women who want to become drivers, a forum to exchange ideas and experiences and the combined knowledge of our members to aid each other.

Our main goals at the WTA are to present women truckers as the valuable asset to the industry that they are and to promote the positive aspects of the trucking industry as a whole.

Our vision at the WTA is that women will be treated as professionals in the trucking industry. We hope to work towards better training programs, trucking schools and companies that address women’s personal safety on the road and companies that will hire women drivers as quickly as they would men. To achieve this we need to grow and build our group, so join the WTA today!

This is a members only group, to become a member you must have a filled out yahoo profile with first name, age, gender, state you live in and occupation; and a concise comment as to why you want to join the WTA. Due to the sensitive nature of some of the issues we deal with, you must be 21 to join. We are a women’s group and allow males to join on a case by case basis.

We allow NO advertising, soliciting, profanity or disrespect!
