WNY-ENVIRO mailing list is a forum for residents of Western New York (WNY). This is a common meeting place where these residents may share information and concerns.

It is well known that WNY was very heavily industrialized in the past. Now, decades later, we find many areas of contamination which local residents feel are directly responsible for the multitudes of health problems in and around these areas. These contaminants include toxics, heavy metals and radioactivity. Additionally, there is serious pollution in and around the former NIKE bases.

Additional topics that are covered are those relating to other hazards to human health such as pesticides, insecticides, use of fluorides in drinking water, etc.
