West Las Vegas Homeschoolers: Nurturing focused, creative inspired kids!! We are a group of homeschooling families residing in West Las Vegas and surrounding areas (Summerlin and beyond). We are not affiliated with any particular religious group. We graciously welcome families of all faiths and homeschooling philosophies. We are a diverse group of families who come from all over the world and we joyfully celebrate this diversity. We are families with children of all ages, providing a fun social network for everyone involved. We meet on a weekly basis at the park for kids to play and parents to socialize. We have group activities such as field trips, seasonal parties, specialized classes and groups and any other activities that our members think of. Our group is member led and anyone can plan an activity. We currently have a book club, a geography club as well as monthly field trips. We support one another in our endeavors to educate our children, which may include families who both homeschool and send children to public or private schools. We respectfully acknowledge that every child has unique needs and that every parent in our group is doing his or her very best to help their children become no-limit individuals and responsible, proactive citizens.
