Please state your valid amateur radio call sign when requesting membership. If you forget to state your call sign, you will be contacted via your registered email address. So, be sure that you register with a working email address that you check regularly! If you don't respond to the request, your membership cannot be approved. We cannot infer your call sign, even if you may use it in your email address (unless it is an ARRL address).

WINMOR is an HF digital protocol designed for use with the Winlink 2000 network. WINMOR will eliminate the need for external PACTOR hardware. WINMOR was presented at the ARRL/TAPR Digital Communications Conference in Chicago, September 26-28, 2008. Rick Muething, KN6KB, presented his paper entitled, "WINMOR. . . A Sound Card ARQ Mode for Winlink HF Digital Messaging".

WINMOR is not a software program but rather a Protocol and there are now two programs in development that use this protocol:

PaclinkW, a user client program (initiates connections) that works with the WL2K system....and RMS HF, a radio server that is part of the WL2K HF infrastructure.

RMS HF accepts the connect requests (either WINMOR or PACTOR) from PaclinkW. This Group's "Files" section provides access to the latest version of PaclinkW. Existing PaclinkW versions should auto update.

Important! This is early stage alpha code. It will be at least a few months before Paclink with WINMOR is production ready.
