Linda, It's a loop so unfortunately there are no short cuts unless you bring your swim suit. But the trail is very flat so there is no climbing or descending....

Gina, I expect about it to take about 3.5 - 4 hours max. including lunch. I did the trail twice in 2.5 hours with a few breaks so I am confident we'll be done...
Anne, I called the park and they said dogs are not allowed on the trail due to the sensitive habitat. You could call to double check. Alviso Marina County Park...
