Description
WAHPV - Western Australian Human Powered Vehicle group
Helping to Promote Recumbent Cycling around the globe
Our activities currently consist of socializing, drinking lots of good coffee and we do surprisingly find time to have some pleasant rides.
A typical ride might be to convene at Burswood at 7:00 am, ride to Applecross for coffee, ride on down to Fremantle for breakfast, ride back to Subiaco, maybe for another coffee before returning to Burswood at perhaps 1:00 pm. Riders may join us along the way or tag off along the way. Riders usually cluster together with others who ride at their comfortable pace. It is not a race - however some good spirited competitiveness provides the occasional diversion or opportunity to compare trikes or bikes.
Don't hesitate to join in and share your ride with us whether you are thinking about being bent, are already completely bent or a confirmed swinger. Considering the various hpv options is something we all enjoy.
The group is very informal and therefore our get-togethers can change location. If you plan to visit or join us for a Sunday coffee, chat or ride, please contact a WAhpv member for information on where we will be on the day.
We ride most Sundays usually following whatever is suggested on this list.
WAHPV'ers are interested in all kinds of bikes, including recumbents,
trikes, any homebuilt machines, folding bikes, Moultons etc.
We exchange information about manufacturers, parts sources etc.
Anyone is welcome to join us or just to drop in for a chat.

Hi Neil. I have a headset spanner with 30, 32, 36 and 40mm sizes which you are welcome to borrow. Hopefully its 32 you need, not 33. :) Cheers, Craig. Neil
