Spear Mentors Needed

 

SPEAR is in need of mentors for our current course, due to very large classes in both our centres in Hammersmith and Chelsea which is great news, but it has left us a bit short of mentors. 

If you have experience in the workplace, can relate well with young people and are free on Saturday 18^th July from 11-4pm then you could get involved in this exciting opportunity which could see a young person’s life being transformed.  SPEAR mentors play a vital role in the way they ensure the students maintain the momentum they have gained over the course, by providing direction and encouragement. 

We ask that our mentors commit to their student for up to six months after they graduate from the programme, roughly every two weeks for about an hour.  Not all relationships will continue for this period and meetings will invariably become more sporadic but it allows a good period of time to make real progress.
