Culpeper Amateur Radio Association (CARA) is an amateur radio club based in Culpeper, Virginia. The "club" is the owner/sponsor, of the W4CUL/147.120 (PL 146.2, when active) Repeater and the K3VB/224.180, (NO PL). K3VB is a new addition, as of June 23,2007, both, of which, are on Clark Mountain. Long/Lat 38:18:41N,-078:00:10W. HAAT ~760 ft. AMSL 1,024 ft. W4CUL is 56 watts and K3VB is 10 watts. Also, W4CUL is Echolink (Node 300136) enabled, as of May 20, 2007. Echolink is hosted from k0un's QTH and the Computer to RF-link resides, in Remington, VA.

Home of the W4CUL/147.120+ (PL 146.2, when enabled) and K3VB/224.180 (NO PL). Assuming you are coming from Culpeper and going either to Orange or Rhoadesville/Unionville...it can be seen (off to the right), when traveling RT 522-S... also it can be seen (off to the left), when traveling RT 15-S.
