I was considering using an under/over Terracycle idler on my Volae Tour because the front idler doesn't work as well as it should. I have Terracycle idlers on...

Sounds like you have had a lot of fun miles on your Century. I'm curious how you'll feel about the Q rings in the longer term. I'm mildly interested in them....
From what I can tell it really is a Ti copy of a Volae/Bacchetta stick bike. The trouble of course is they may not have got all the little details right and...
Does the over/under idler reduce chain slap? I define that to be the chain slapping up against the frame just back of the stem - right where the Volae logo...

I installed the Terracycle Idlers on all three of our Volae bents (both Clubs - my wife's Club and my Club and Century). I should be a stockholder in the...

I am riding a Club and am also interested in going to the over and under idler. Is that possible? What kind of adjustments, if any, have to be made to the...
Hi Fred, No adjustments required to the chain just buy the kit from Terracycle and install - whole process takes 5mins by itself or 15mins while drinking a cup...
I’ve been having some problems posting to the group lately and couldn’t figure out why. I think I have it solved. My msgs that only contain text are...
If you want to see some pics of the over/under idler setup just google "the lazy randonneur" and once on my blog enter "idler" into the search box at the top...

Sounds good thanks. How will I know if there are msgs that need review/approval? Where do I go to approve the msgs? Thanks - I'll try not to let the power...
I am a new Volae owner, with just over 1,000 miles on this spring, including a sub 5 hour century yesterday. Previously I was riding a Catrike Speed - which...
The rumor (more laid back seat reduces available power) may be true, but not for the reason stated (less force). Power and force are two different things, and...
... Paul, My experience on longer rides (200kms) is that climbing on my Volae is my limiting factor to achieving a higher average speed. If I could climb...
... Hey Joe, A sub-5hr century is pretty awesome - sounds like you have your bike dialed in very well. I don't think there is a simple answer to the question...

Again, the physicist in me must speak up. If we start comparing uprights and Volaes on hilly courses, vehicle weight differences are likely to be a much...
Hi Joe, ... One thing to keep in mind is that, for some reason I don't fully understand yet, leaning the seat backwards makes the bike twitchy. I don't think...
Ihab: I've noticed the same. Since "sitting up" in extreme situations seems to make the bike more controllable, I guess it makes sense that being laid "way"...
