The Madison Civics Club Invites Youth Groups to Apply for Community
Service Grants
MADISON—Dane County-area youth groups are invited to apply for community
service grants of up to $1,000 to be awarded by the Madison Civics Club.
In conjunction with offering thought-provoking luncheon presentations on social
issues by civic,
national and international trailblazers, the all-volunteer, nonprofit club
recognizes
youth groups for their outstanding contributions to their communities.
Criteria for the Madison Civics Club’s youth grants are:
1. Worthy project with plans for how grant money will be used
2. Community service without political bias
3. Relevance of group’s mission to Madison Civics Club speaker’s topic
