For moms in/near Ventura County, California, drawn to mothering in the instinctive ways known as Attachment Parenting. Many AP moms choose breastfeeding (including extended breastfeeding or natural weaning), babywearing, co-sleeping/family bed, elimination communication (aka natural infant hygiene or infant potty training), positive/gentle discipline, nonviolent communication, and respectful, responsive parenting. Thoughtful discussion of parenting and related topics is welcome: natural or unassisted childbirth, homebirth, non/delayed/selective vaccination, non/circumcision, homeschooling, unschooling, extended or tandem nursing, alternative/complementary healthcare, nutrition... We should express ourselves in a manner considerate of others, and strive to nurture a safe, respectful forum, as well as each other. This means no flaming nor debating the facets or definitions of AP and beyond.
