This is a group for vegetarians (or those who sometimes like veggie meals) who are followers of the "Old Ways," including Pagans, Druids, Wiccans, and so on. The goal of this list is to assist one-another with eating in a vegetarian-friendly manner in this mostly non-vegetarian society, especially as it applies to those of us on Earth-based paths.

"vegans" and "vegetarians" are welcome here (with neither being thought the "better" way), as well as those who are trying to begin a vegetarian lifestyle or are otherwise interested in eating less meat. Discussions and ideas for new and innovative ways to prepare foods are welcome, including recipes and good brands of prepared foods. One point of information - "vegetarian" is generally defined here as those who do not eat meat, poultry, fish, or any other animal life (with eggs and dairy being acceptable).

This list is moderated by Hemlock Evergreen, a vegetarian for a few years now (and most assuredly still learning), follower of a Celtic spiritual (and rather Druidic) path.
