Everyone's passions are high. List moderation may active but neutral.

No humans are totally innocent in moral matters. All err and all offend. Reasonable adjustment must be pursued rationally and responsibly, even when terror overwhelms. Even if we’re malice-free of malice, our challenge is charting a future ensuring everyone’s good.

In this and all geopolitical conflicts, neither side seems to care for anyone’s good except their own. What seems an impasse may actually be an impasse.

Are there nonmilitary way to proceed? Aren’t all military benefit ALWAYS plagued with unforeseen and long-term downsides? What interests perpetuate war? Is diet and attitude towards nonhumans part of that formula?

If you're vegetarian and you care about nonviolence and its prospects, yet you believe ALSO that ALL persons figure somehow into the calculation, this is for you.

Animals, civilians, and other parties, interested disinterested, are killed, maimed, injured, dislocated, or otherwise harmed by wars. All schools of ethics frame principles as universal; that includes nonhumans, but nonhumans are often ignored in calculating geopolitical issues. Only living and future humans can be core decisionmakers in intrahuman conflicts, and technology's scale today renders this fact pivotal: justice for all requires human decision.
