Greetings and welcome to the Vegas Science Fiction Association (VSFA). We're a social group for anyone interested in anything related to science fiction. We welcome everyone: book geeks, movie buffs, serious gamers, and comic book fans, etc., etc. We do tend to talk a lot about books, movies, and TV series, but our members tend to be interested in a lot of different things and are always willing to learn something new.

Our regular meeting is on the first Saturday of every month at Dead Poet Books at 937 S Rainbow Blvd (northeastern corner of Charleston and Rainbow) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Monthly meeting--11 am-1 pm--Free and open to the public! Sure, we discuss some business, but it's mostly about having fun and what are we going to do next.

The "After-meeting" (aka "let's-get-some-food") is wherever those in attendance decide to go. All are welcome!

To continue the fun, we started "Dinner and a Movie with VSFA" although these days it's more like lunch and a movie because it is cheaper. We decide on a movie and post it on the listserv. We go to a variety of theatres. Check out the Calendar Section for updated dates, times, and movie titles.

We also frequently plan other events such as our annual Halloween party, house parties, Video/DVD viewing parties, and other events so please check out our Calendar Section for more info on these events or anything else we can think of!
