Sterling Pond on Mount Mansfield; 11-11-2007. A record for early skating in VT?

On this list-serve Nordic skaters inform each other about the continuously changing ice conditions on Vermont lakes. Between frost, snow and thaw, the time window for skating is limited and fast communication is essential.
Reports can be read on this website, but we hope you will subscribe and add your observations. Subscribers have access to the Files, Photos and Links on this site.

Chris Bowker's map reports ice conditions in New England. Right now the map is not updated.
