Welcome to
Vintage Aurora Slot Car Racers Association
VASCRA is made up of small group of enthusiasts from Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Ohio dedicated to the hobby of slot cars and model car racing. Founded in 2003 for our very first VHORS SHOOT-OUT, as the very first Original VASCRA Team and Group.
The club maintains a special interest in the vintage HO
scale Thunderjet and AFX slot car lines produced by the Aurora Plastics
Corporation from 1963 to 1979.

Club members enjoy a scope of interest that spans most aspects of the slot car hobby including performance tuning and racing, modeling, collecting, friendly running and, most importantly,having fun between friends.
