VA-MD-DE-Bugs is a listserv dedicated to bugs that are observed in the described region. Information from just outside the described region is fine too. Topics include but are not limited to sightings of Dragonflies, Butterflies, Moths, Spiders, and any other insect or bug that you care to discuss that is seen within the region. Discussion should not include collecting of these creatures, but observation of them. Habitat discussion, conservation concerns, migration, trends, status, field guides, identification and other items are fodder for this list. Announcements about Butterfly surveys, or organizations dedicated either directly or indirectly about bugs are permitted.
The goal is to present a forum where eager novices, interested amateurs and established experts can exchange information and discuss these critters with the goal of promoting knowledge about all of them to any subscriber that wishes to learn about bugs.
