This group is committed to unschooling and natural learning. From beginners learning to let go of school-at-home to veteran unschoolers, everyone is welcome to share discoveries, experiences, insights, wisdom and surprises.
People looking to debate the merits of unschooling or child-led learning should look elsewhere for that argument.
Anything is possible as a topic of discussion here. As one of our members says: "Believe me there are unschooling lists where people seem unwilling to talk about anything. So being on one where it is open season on anything is reassuringly fun, and brings the odd tear to my eyes, interspersed with gales of laughter. - Marina, giddy with a sense of community, and purpose!"
Linda adds: "I'm on this list primarily because it's a collection of brilliant, vibrant thinkers who happen to have a baseline understanding of natural learning (in children and other humans)... Don't know how many people are purist unschoolers on this list -- can't pay attention, 'cause it doesn't matter to me."
In the files you will find links and resources provided by our members that can help you build a foundation of understanding on the universe that comprises an unschooling life.
The list owner will not tolerate use of the list for advertising of religious, political, or commercial ventures, and will remove any member who is selling things, drumming up business, or pointing out inappropriate sites and e-lists. Thanks to all members for your patience with the occasional inappropriate messages that get through while we are sifting for spammers.
