1) NO POLITICS,NO SPAM,NO ADVERTISING. Keep it appropiate for all ages. Two strikes & you're out.

2) SUBJECT LINE
Use these phrases:
OFFER: old couch
TAKEN: old couch
WANTED: old couch. [Please use this one sparingly]
ADMIN: Owner and moderators only
(2a) I would like to see all new members make an offer before posting a wanted ad.
3) CAN WE USE RECYCLE TO FIND NEW HOMES FOR PETS? Yes, keep it legal & be lovingly careful.

4) KEEP IT FREE.

5) NO TRADING PLEASE.

6) FYI: RESPONSES GO ONLY TO OFFERER. It keeps down the sheer # of e-mails.

7) PICK UP. arrange as you like, generally, 1st responded, 1st serve, if a charity responds, you may want to give them a 1st shot.If you get a lot of responses you may want to put the names in a hat and draw the lucky person.
