HR676 There is a Single Payer U.S. House bill HR676 "New Expanded Medicare" by Representative John Conyers co-signed by 93 members that is before Congress as an alternative to the ever more compromised Obama health bill. Please contact your House Representative and ask that they fully support & promote this House bill HR676.

SB810 California Legislature has twice passed a state-level single payer bill, "The California Universal Healthcare Act" in 2006 and again in 2008. Both times, Governor Arnold Schwartzenegger vetoed the bill. SB810 is again set for legislative hearings in 2009.

This site will be set up as a directory (directory pending) and link source for information & opinions on the Health care debate with emphasis on Single Payer.
