Use the settings which match your computer setup. For Example 9600 baud, 8,n,1 and the correct com port. Also you MUST have RMT displayed on the units LCD

In order for the scanner to communicate with the pc you have to turn the remote feature on. On the keypad below the 7 there is a "." You will also see the
