I like the Rena Filstar XP series. I have an XP3 that I've used for about 12 years so far. It's less expensive than other brands, but is good quality. - Trevor

Filter for a 100 gallon tank.
My canister filter finally died. I have a 100 gallon planted tank. Any suggestions as to what kind I should replace it with? Thanks! Joyce

Sick Harlequin Rasbora
Two days ago, I noticed one of my harlequin rasbora was having some trouble breathing, tail fin was clamping, and he was hanging out alone near bottom of tank.

Discus grow very large and need more space than a 30 gallon can provide.  If you want to give them a comfortable living area that is.  75 gallon should

Discus are high maintenance requiring frequent water changes, and temperatures too high for most plants. I had them myself, and every time I left town I lost
