This is the public space for people interested in having a wonderful place to live, please join this gorup as we create a co-housing community near Ukiah CA (115 miles N. of SF) with a main focus on sustainability. We are in the process of forming and would like to invite those interested to come to a party/gathering/funtime to meet us and learn a bit about what we envison and what cohousing is about.
Our hope is that will will be a diverse group of caring people enjoying concious, eco-friendly living.
Our Mission Statement-
Ukiah Valley cohousing is a multi-generational community focused on the
creation and maintenance of a thriving village that enjoys community
life as well as individual ownership and privacy. We aim to set an
example for sustainability in building practices and lifestyle. We
utilize a consensus based model of governance, and are located near
Ukiah in Mendocino County, California.
