This group is for the discussion, promotion and registration of the 3rd Annual Unschooler's Winter Waterpark Gathering, Feb. 8-12, 2010

Our gatherings are for unschooling families around the country, to simply have fun, relax and share time with other unschoolers - ie, families homeschooling in a non-traditional, non-schoolly schoolly, child-led, interest based, life learning, relaxed or eclectic approach.

The UWWG's are at Sandusky, Ohio's Kalahari Waterpark Resort, the largest indoor waterpark in the USA. The next UWWG will be February 8-12, 2010.

The Kalahari is the premier in waterpark resorts. It's like a mini village with 884 rooms (Ohio's largest hotel), 4 restaurants, night club, full service spa, gift shops, large game room, putt-putt, bowling, and more.

Their indoor waterpark includes everything from lazy river rides, wave pool for surfing and boogie boarding, to giant water slides and thrilling water coasters.

We also have conference rooms where funshops, discussions, social gatherings, Winter Carnival, talent shows, Ballroom dance, etc.. will be offered throughout the week. Thus, giving kids and parents, an additional way to further connect with other unschoolers.

We have reserved a large block of rooms, including multi-room suites with full kitchens, at exceptionally discounted rates.
