PURPOSE: The list is intended for announcements of interest Young Professionals living on the upper west side.

INFORMING OF EVENTS: To get an event added to our weekly e-mail send grubey1@yahoo.com information about the event and it will most likely be distributed to our list.

EMAIL POLICY: The list is currently moderated by Stephen Gruber. The following are examples of emails that would ALWAYS BE APPROPRIATE: (i) shabbos schedule / announcements; (ii) shul events of interest to members and nonmembers; (iii) community events such as blood drives; etc.


The following are examples of emails that would GENERALLY NOT BE SENT OUT: (i) Apt for rent (but a link for apts has been set up at http://www.bangitout.com/apt.html); (ii) similiar for jobs (currently working on site); (iii) jokes; etc.
