This group is for the discussion, promotion and registration of the Unschooler's Waterpark Gatherings.

The next UWG will be February 3rd - February 8th, 2013.

Our gatherings are for unschooling families around the country to simply have fun, relax and share time with other unschoolers - ie, families homeschooling in a non-traditional, child-led, interest based, life learning approach.

Those new or looking into unschooling are welcomed to come with the understanding they have researched unschooling, come with an open mind and are respectful to those at various stages of unschooling.

The UWG's are at Sandusky, Ohio's Kalahari Indoor Waterpark Resort, the largest indoor waterpark in the USA. It's the premier in waterpark resorts and Ohio’s largest hotel and convention center. Their indoor waterpark includes everything from lazy river rides, wave pool for surfing and boogie boarding, to giant water slides and thrilling water coasters. Also at the Resort are 4 restaurants, night club, full service spa, exercise room, business center, large game room, putt-putt, and more.

We'll be using their convention center where lots of unschooling funshops, discussions, social gatherings, talent shows, ballroom dance, etc.. will be offered throughout the week.

We have reserved a large block of rooms at exceptionally discounted rates which includes waterpark passes.
