Hi...Here is one you might like for your photo gallery. The guys were
participants in a boxer we held while in Kwaj. 26 Mar 1950. Hope you like
it.
Those in the photo from left to right:

Second row kneeling: Jones, Ogborn, Delancey, Dyches, & lHart.

P.W. Smith FC3 was my boss and the ranking Firecontrolman aboard at the

Enjoyed your photo of the CPOs. Was that the entire complement in 1957? As
I recall, when I went aboard ships complement was 350 of whom 70 were CPOs.

My dad is Howard Picard. He served aboard the USS Kermit Roosevelt 1950 -
1953. He is looking for Frank and John Pittman (Twins) and William Cory that
he served with. If anyone has information on how to find these people any
help would be appreciated.

Hi...Thanks for including me in the KR group. I have checked out the
website, and it looks a good one.
My dates of service aboard the KR are from July of 1949 to Aug of 1950. I
joined the ship in Long Beach, CA right out of Firecontrol Class A school.
Made the trip to Kwaj and Majuro in Jan of '50. I was shanghaied onto an
LST in Aug that year along with a few other KR shipmates.
Thanks again.
