Hi...Here is one you might like for your photo gallery. The guys were
participants in a boxer we held while in Kwaj. 26 Mar 1950. Hope you like
it.

Those in the photo from left to right:
Front row kneeling: Wise, Collins, Hewlett, & Cummins
Second row kneeling: Jones, Ogborn, Delancey, Dyches, & lHart.

Third row standing: R.J. Nevis, Cook, P.W. Smith, Parrish, Doc Hayes, Lee,
and Bingham.

P.W. Smith FC3 was my boss and the ranking Firecontrolman aboard at the
time.

Enjoyed your photo of the CPOs. Was that the entire complement in 1957? As
I recall, when I went aboard ships complement was 350 of whom 70 were CPOs.
I kid you not.

George in Iowa
To view the picture, double-click the icon. If asked what program to open it
with, select your Internet browser.

To learn more about Microsoft Picture It!, please check out our Web site at
http://www.microsoft.com/pictureit.

This 'Medium' picture is best for screen viewing. If you want to print a
higher-quality print, please ask the sender to send pictures using the
'Large' setting.

If your picture looks blotchy, the color setting for your monitor may be too
low. Your monitor and display adapters determine the number of colors that
can appear on your screen. Many monitors are set lower than they need to be.
For best results, you may want to increase the number of colors your monitor
displays:

1. Click the Start button, and then point to Settings.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Double-click the Display icon.
4. Click the Settings tab.
5. In the Color Palette list, click High Color, 65536 Colors or True Color.

Hi...Thanks for including me in the KR group. I have checked out the
website, and it looks a good one.

My dates of service aboard the KR are from July of 1949 to Aug of 1950. I
joined the ship in Long Beach, CA right out of Firecontrol Class A school.
Made the trip to Kwaj and Majuro in Jan of '50. I was shanghaied onto an
LST in Aug that year along with a few other KR shipmates.

Thanks again.
