Organizers,

I know a few of you have mentioned it, but did anyone get their UCI bills
for _this_ season? I know that I haven't, and that's unusual. Normally we
get them in the summer and they're paid before the season starts.

Has anyone actually received their inscription fee invoice?

I believe Geoff mentioned that next year's WC schedule will be announced at worlds in January; Geoff, you can correct me if I'm wrong.

The National Events Director at USAC deals with all the UCI inscriptions; that would be Micah Rice now.

USAC usually requests they be in by December 15th. They usually cooperate with Adam and our group since we have the meeting at nationals to set the US cross calendar for the next year, so most go in after that meeting.

My question about WC dates this year was not when they happen this year that’s clear. I just thought last year we had the WC dates during the NA planning but that could be my love park concussion talking.

So to start the ball rolling..

The dates for the 3 day 2010 Jingle Cross will be Friday-Sunday , November 26th, 27th, and 28th, 2010.

PLEASE BE ADVISED the Jingle Cross will have to move off its traditional thanksgiving weekend date for 2011. The University of Iowa football season, an annual conlict for us having the Jingle Cross any earlier in the year due to lack of hotel space, will extend into the Thanksgiving weekend for the first time starting in 2011 every other year forcing us to move the JCR off the thanksgiving weekend we had contracted with the city. This is due to a new season extention now being employed for the Big 10 football teams. But the city has realized the huge revenue we genreate for the city and has granted us other open weekends based on the "bye" weekend for the hawkeyes of November 12th, 2011 or an away game date of November 19th, 2011. We respect the hard work of our colleagues in the other UCI events and would like to be sure we minimize any conflict this may cause for 2011. Although this is 2 years away, please contact me at john@... if you think your 2011 event may fall on one of those dates.

we are doing the usual Dec 15th turning in of our inscriptions?



My question about WC dates this year was not when they happen this year
that's clear.  I just thought last year we had the WC dates during the NA
planning but that could be my love park concussion talking.

Day one October 16 th C1 or C2 (still looking for money and talking to
Toronto)

Day two October 17 th C2

I have not received the 2010/2011 UCI inscription forms from UCI, so I've
requested they send (or resend) them to me when they become available (I
thought I would have received them by now).

The 2010/2011 UCI CX inscription forms will be posted to the CX webpage on
www.usacycling.org once I receive them.  I will also distribute to all of
the 2009/2010 UCI CX promoters via email.  Any changes in inscription will
also be outlined when the inscription forms are distributed.

Where on the web do we find this years forms (not that I have looked for
them yet)?
