Welcome to the US 183A Action Group! This group has been formed to share issues, concerns and ideas of the in-progress U.S. Highway 183A between the numerous affected Texas neighborhoods of North Austin, Cedar Park and Leander.

This new stretch of road will start at RM 620 and ultimately go through FM 1431, New Hope Dr., CR 272 and FM 2243.

The Greenbelts and Golden Cheek Warbler nesting areas have already been destroyed on the East side of these neighborhoods! Since most of us didn't have much of a notice of that, we must now do whatever it takes to have the road redesigned further away from our homes for reasons of safety and noise, air and visual pollution. We must also have a say in the aesthetic landscape design and quite possibly be compensated for the deceitfullness of the developers/ residential home builders at the time that we purchased our homes.

Remember...you will have to live with this road for a long, long time and your property value will be, and has already, been affected.
