Description
U.S. Route 59 is a north-south United States highway (though it is signed east-west in parts of Texas). U.S. 59 is now a border-to-border route.
The highway's northern terminus is nine miles north of Lancaster, Minnesota, at the Canadian border, where it continues as Manitoba Highway 59. Its southern terminus is in Laredo, Texas, at an interchange with Interstate 35 and U.S. Route 83 just north of the Mexican border.
For help with transport of rescued animals along the US-59 corridor, requests for help must contain the URL of the responsible rescue and must identify the Starting point and Destination of the run within the first paragraph.
Posts for transportation must either travel the US-59 corridor or cross it at a leg change.
US-59 runs through Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota. If your run does not go through these states along the US-59 corridor, do not post it here!
No unaltered pets will be transported to a forever home unless a veterinarian attests that there is some medical reason not to alter the pet before transport.
No photos are permitted in the posts -- if you want the transporters to see the dogs, please use a link to a webpage where they can be seen.
No "Pets Need Homes" posts allowed -- no cross-posting of petfinder lists -- this is a transport only list.
Home visit requests within 35 miles of the US-59 corridor will be permitted.
No flaming, no petitions, no DNA, no soliciting, no inspirational messages.
